There is love, there is heartbreak, there is everything in between. I stand by the side lines watching everyone go. I’ve never been one for sports and competition, so I guess I settle staying where I am comfortable. I think of how great it would be to get my hands dirty, but whenever the moment arises, I turn to stone.

It is a lonely life to never love. I wonder what it is like to be kissed right there or to be touched just so. Would I tremble, like all the girls say they do? Will I get weak in the knees and fall head over heels? I know the problem is I don’t believe in such fairy-tales; I don’t believe in such love. So I watch the game play on without me and I watch the clock count down to zero.
